Salary: $220,300 - $263,330 per annum
We are seeking an experienced Mental Health Specialist to join our team at Riverside practice location in Burlington. As a key member of our psychiatric department, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional mental health services to our patients.
Job Responsibilities:
Provide outpatient mental health services and follow-up care to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
Collaborate with primary care providers to deliver comprehensive psychiatric care within the primary care setting.
Offer clinical supervision to nursing staff, promoting seamless care delivery and ensuring adherence to best practices.
Participate in teaching and training programs for medical students, resident physicians, nurse practitioner students, and nursing students.
Coordinate and document risk management efforts, guaranteeing continuity of care for our patients.
Contribute to quality assurance and quality improvement initiatives, driving excellence in our psychiatric services.
Requirements:
To be considered for this position, you must possess:
A graduation degree from an accredited medical school and completion of a residency program in Psychiatry.
CPR certification and a valid license to practice medicine in Vermont.
Board certification or board eligibility in Psychiatry, as well as successful credentialing and privileging by CHC and relevant insurance companies.
