Job Summary
The MT/MLT performs and monitors various medical laboratory analyses of patient specimens to provide accurate test results for confirming clinical diagnoses and treatment therapies. This role requires adherence to established quality control policies and procedures to ensure the accuracy and validity of laboratory results.
Responsibilities
Verify and report laboratory findings in a timely and accurate fashion.
Follow all established regulations related to specimen processing, QC, lab safety, etc.
Requirements
Associate's Degree in Medical Laboratory Technology required.
1 year experience and/or training in a laboratory setting.
ASCP certification preferred.
Conditions of Employment
Covid Vaccination is a requirement for employment at Jefferson Health for employees working at Jefferson's clinical entities or at the University. If you are not currently vaccinated, you will be required to receive the vaccination prior to hire date if you are offered employment, unless you request and receive an approved medical or religious exemption from Jefferson.
