Job Summary

We are seeking an Ambulatory Nursing Professional Development Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our nursing department, you will play a vital role in supporting the development of ambulatory nursing professionals, ensuring they have the skills and knowledge needed to deliver high-quality patient care. About the Role

This is a challenging yet rewarding position that requires a skilled and dedicated individual. As an Ambulatory Nursing Professional Development Specialist, you will be responsible for:

  • Developing and implementing professional development programs for ambulatory nursing staff, including orientation, onboarding, and ongoing competency evaluation.
  • Maintaining current knowledge base clinically and administratively through active participation in professional and educational activities to enhance your skills as a manager, leader, and clinical resource.
  • Providing educational reinforcement support as delegated by the ambulatory nursing leadership team.
  • Assisting with the Ambulatory Nurse Leader program and other initiatives aimed at improving patient outcomes and advancing nursing practice.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • 2 years of LPN work experience, with a focus on professional development and education.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues and stakeholders.
  • Able to travel frequently between West and Central regions to provide on-site presence and support to clinics.
