About the Position

The College of Education and Human Development at George Mason University is seeking a Marketing Coordinator to provide support to the Executive Director of Communications and Marketing. The successful candidate will manage marketing resources, implement systems to efficiently address college marketing needs, and generate interest and enrollment in degree programs.

Responsibilities
  • Review marketing requests from academic program partners and manage projects from start to finish, including communicating project requirements, scheduling meetings, coordinating materials reviews, and distributing completed materials.
  • Manage marketing asset management systems in Sharepoint and Airtable, keeping the marketing toolkit up to date and ensuring projects are properly archived.
  • Develop new templates and processes for academic program partners to promote consistency and cohesion of the CEHD brand across all college marketing materials.
  • Collaborate with the Communications Coordinator to develop creative assets for CEHD social media channels and email communication channels.
  • Collaborate with the Executive Director of Communications and Marketing to develop individualized strategies for CEHD academic program partners that maximize their reach within existing budgets.
  • Provide as-needed assistance to the Executive Director of Communications and Marketing on flagship campaigns, tracking analytics, building stakeholder presentations, and other ad hoc projects.
  • Build, maintain, and optimize partnerships with external marketing and communications resources and central partners within George Mason University.

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
