Emergency Room Nurse

About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate ER Nurse to join our team at Eastern Idaho Regional Medical Center. As a critical care registered nurse, you will deliver exceptional patient care in our fast-paced emergency room, treating everything from minor injuries to acutely or critically ill patients.
Responsibilities
- Triage, assess, and treat patients of all ages.
- Manage multiple cases simultaneously, providing general nursing care and prioritizing needs continually.
- Act in a composed and professional manner, especially under pressure.
- Provide follow-up care instructions to patients and make necessary referrals.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient charts.
- Coordinate functions with physicians and other departments of the hospital, while being patient-focused and safety-aware at all times.
Requirements
- NIH Stroke Scale must be obtained within 90 days of employment start date.
- Trauma Nursing Core Course must be obtained within 1 year of employment start date.
- Registered Nurse.
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) or ACLS Instructor must be obtained within 90 days of employment start date.
- Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date.
- Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) or PALS Instructor must be obtained within 90 days of employment start date.
- Emergency Nurse Pediatric Course (ENPC) or Emer Pediatric Care Instructor must be obtained within 1 year of employment start date.
- Nonviolent Crisis Intervention must be obtained within 90 days of employment start date.
