Job Overview

The CRO/Vendor Relationship Manager at Daiichi Sankyo, Inc. plays a crucial role in the success of our clinical trials and programs. This position involves managing relationships with Contract Research Organizations (CROs) and vendors to ensure the highest quality delivery of clinical programs.

About the Role

This role requires a strong understanding of pharmaceutical development, project management, and new product planning. The ideal candidate will have 5 or more years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry and 1 or more years of vendor relationship management experience. A Bachelor's Degree is required, and a Master's Degree is preferred.

Responsibilities
  • CRO/Vendor Relationship Oversight: Manage the lifecycle of CRO/Vendor relationships, including onboarding, governance, and retirement.
  • Governance Meetings: Attend and facilitate governance meetings with CRO/vendors to ensure clear roles and responsibilities, points of contact, and process excellence.
  • CRO/Vendor Performance Monitoring: Review and communicate CRO/Vendor performance at various forums and support corrective action plans to address deficiencies.
  • Collaboration and Communication: Collaborate with clinical study teams and other functions to ensure holistic awareness and facilitate constructive change by conducting ongoing lessons learned and identifying areas of improvement.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree required; Master's Degree preferred.
  • 4 or more years pharmaceutical industry experience or commensurate education/experience.
  • 5 or more years total experience preferred.
  • 1 or more years vendor relationship management experience and an understanding of pharmaceutical development, project management, and new product planning.
Benefits

Daiichi Sankyo, Inc. offers a competitive salary range of $80,000 - $110,000 per year, based on experience. The company also provides equal opportunity/affirmative action employment and travel opportunities up to 10% for team meetings, conferences, and to support inspections.
