Job Overview

We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Ground Operations Technician to join our team at Lucas Tree Experts.

Compensation

The estimated salary for this position is $38,000 - $42,000 per year, based on a 45-hour workweek and an hourly rate of $18 - $20.

Key Responsibilities

As a Ground Operations Technician, you will be responsible for safely operating various forestry equipment, including woodchippers, hydraulic equipment, and chainsaws. You will also perform manual removal of vegetation from work areas, as well as line clearance, pruning, and removals.

Requirements
  • Must be able to work 45 hours weekly.
  • Must be 18 years of age with a High School Diploma/GED/or equivalent.
  • Must have a current and valid driver's license with reliable transportation.
  • Must be physically able to perform the requirements of the position (i.e., walk on uneven grounds, carry 75 lbs.).
  • Must be willing to work at varying heights.
  • Must be willing and able to learn how to run a bucket truck & operate equipment safely.
