About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our team. As a Medical Care Coordinator, you will be responsible for coordinating patient admissions, managing electronic medical records, and providing exceptional customer service to patients and families.

Key Responsibilities
  • Greet visitors and patients in person
  • Communicate effectively by telephone or video conferencing
  • Handle confidential information with discretion
  • Prioritize tasks to identify immediate emergency needs
  • Demonstrate technical knowledge and competence in departmental procedures
  • Enter and update patient demographic and financial information
  • Obtain necessary applications and forms
  • Collect patient liabilities and balance cash boxes daily
  • Work collaboratively with partnering departments to ensure smooth patient encounters
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A high school diploma or equivalent
  • At least one year of customer service experience in an office setting
  • Experience with Microsoft Office products
  • Ability to work a 2-week rotation schedule
  • Ability to complete 6-8 weeks of training during first shift hours

Salary Estimate

The estimated salary for this role is $45,000 - $60,000 per year, depending on location and experience.
