Job Description

Capital One Financial Corp is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Risk Management Professional to join our Operational Risk Challenge & Advisory team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for identifying, assessing, and mitigating operational risks across various business lines.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform risk assessments and provide recommendations to management on risk mitigation strategies.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and address operational risks.
  • Develop and maintain risk management policies and procedures.
  • Provide training and guidance to staff on risk management best practices.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and regulatory requirements.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field.
  • At least 4 years of experience in risk management or a related field.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Master's degree in a related field.
  • Certifications in risk management or a related field.
  • Experience working in a financial services industry.
