Job Title: Senior Director of Government and Education Sales

About the Role:

T-Mobile seeks an experienced Senior Director of Government and Education Sales to lead our SLED (State, Local, and Educational) and Higher Education sales efforts. As a key member of our sales leadership team, you will be responsible for developing and executing strategies to drive revenue growth in these critical markets.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Develop and execute sales strategies to target and engage with government agencies, higher education institutions, and other educational organizations.
  2. Leverage deep knowledge of government procurement processes and permissive buying vehicles to navigate complex sales transactions and drive revenue growth.
  3. Build and manage relationships with decision-makers at state and local government agencies, as well as higher education institutions.
  4. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop solutions that meet the needs of government agencies and higher education institutions.
  5. Analyze market trends and competitor activity to identify opportunities for growth and develop strategies to stay ahead of the competition.
  6. Manage a team of sales professionals and provide coaching and guidance to ensure they have the skills and resources needed to succeed.

Requirements:

  • 7-10 years of experience in sales leadership roles, preferably in the technology or telecommunications industry.
  • Deep understanding of government procurement processes and permissive buying vehicles.
  • Strong relationships with decision-makers at state and local government agencies, as well as higher education institutions.
  • Ability to analyze market trends and competitor activity to identify opportunities for growth.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills.

Salary Range: $154,500 - $278,800
