As a Diagnostic Imaging Specialist in our MRI department, you will play a critical role in producing high-quality diagnostic images for our patients. Your expertise will help us deliver exceptional patient care and advance our mission to transform healthcare.
Key Responsibilities- Review patient charts and physician orders to determine optimal imaging parameters for suspected pathology.
- Select and use proper imaging coils for studies.
- Perform imaging studies using proper scanning techniques and protocols.
- Work with physicians to optimize MRI sequences and produce high-quality images.
- Administer contrast media and verify pregnancy status as needed.
- Document diagnostic and patient data in the appropriate record.
- Perform post-processing techniques to optimize imaging or studies.
- Compliance with ARRT or ARMRIT MRI educational and clinical requirements.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficient computer skills, including Microsoft Office and/or Google Suite platforms.
- American Registry of Radiologic Technologists Certification or American Registry of Magnetic Resonance Imaging Tech.
- AHA Basic Health Care Life Support HCP Certification.
Lifts a minimum of 25 lbs., pushes and pulls a minimum of 50 lbs., and stands a minimum of 6 hours a day.
Regular contact with medical personnel and visitors.
