We are seeking skilled Electronics Systems Specialists to support our clients at Naval Undersea Warfare Center (NUWC). Job Responsibilities
The successful candidate will provide direct support to Code 34 Imaging and Electronic Warfare (I&EW) Team, including fabrication, manufacture, testing, installation, and maintenance of I&EW sensors and antenna shipsets.
Key responsibilities include:
- Mechanical and electrical troubleshooting, repair, and assembly of complex I&EW systems
- Testing of sub-assemblies and completed systems; Collecting technical data at the component, subassembly, and assembly levels
- Conducting receipt inspections and determining serviceability of Fleet-returned assets, as well as electrical and mechanical inspections to ensure vendor compliance of received parts
- Conducting Quality Assurance Inspections on new and repaired assemblies as required by directives
- Analyzing collected technical data for conformance to specifications, identifying issues, and providing recommendations to resolve any issues
- Assembling Engineering Prototypes, including product improvement feedback to engineers, and completing drawing redlines, and associated process forms as required
- Assistance in developing Test Procedures
- Developing program status reports such as technical assessments, risk assessments, technical recommendations, or technical information
Requirements and Qualifications
The ideal candidate should possess a Technical School Diploma and two years' experience related to the tasks mentioned above, or a minimum of six years active-duty submarine combat system experience preferably with experience with US Navy Submarine Combat Systems (BYG-1, EW, SONAR, IMAGING, etc.).
A strong attention to detail, working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, familiarity with electronic testing procedures, and standard test equipment are also required.
Additionally, the candidate should be able to learn and apply techniques quickly as part of a team effort, or independently, to develop innovative technical solutions.
Documented completion of soldering and/or fiber-optic termination/connectors certification/training is also necessary.
Benefits
Rite-Solutions, Inc. offers a competitive salary of $80,000 - $120,000 per year, depending on experience. The position requires a Secret Clearance and US Citizenship.
