Job Description

We are seeking a Behavioral Health Technician (BHT) to join our team at Aspire Health Partners in Orlando, FL. The BHT will provide essential functions regarding patient care and safety, including maintaining a therapeutic environment, assisting in admission and discharge, conducting client rounds, and documenting treatment details.

Salary: $15-$16 per hour based on experience and location.

Responsibilities
  • Provide quality patient care to clients in a safe and therapeutic environment.
  • Assist in admission and discharge of clients, recognizing and addressing client needs.
  • Conduct regular client rounds to ensure clients are well and in the appropriate areas.
  • Maintain supervision of clients and document any changes or unusual behavior.
  • Assist therapy and nursing staff in group activities and daily management of the unit.
  • Maintain a daily program schedule by ensuring participants are engaged in program activities.
  • Administer, analyze, and document participant drug screenings.
  • Provide supervised self-administration of medication when applicable.
  • Document client treatment details in the Electronic Health Record.
  • Provide ongoing communication to the program team regarding changes, issues, or needs of participants or the program.
  • Assist the program team as directed with the operation of the program.
Qualifications
  • Possess a High School Diploma or GED.
  • BLS Certification (Preferred).
  • Pass a Level II Background clearance.
  • Driver's License.
