Community Engagement Coordinator

We are seeking a highly motivated Community Engagement Coordinator to join our team at the YMCA of Metro Atlanta. The successful candidate will be responsible for planning and coordinating the implementation of family and community engagement services, ensuring compliance with Head Start Performance Standards and local regulations. This is a dynamic role that requires strong communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders.
Responsibilities- Develop and implement strategies to engage families and communities, including advocacy and collaboration with social service agencies.
- Monitor program compliance, ensuring accurate record-keeping and data collection.
- Coordinate parent engagement events, resources, and information, in collaboration with Center Leadership.
- Conduct community assessments, identifying areas of need and opportunities for collaboration.
- Develop and maintain partnerships with community providers and organizations, facilitating training and technical assistance.
- Prepare and disseminate reports, including outcome measures and data analysis.
- Provide technical assistance to Center Staff and partners, addressing program issues and ensuring compliance.
- Recruit and manage volunteers, tracking their contributions and impact.
- Bachelor's degree in social work or a related field, with 3+ years of experience in social services or a related field.
- Strong conflict resolution, listening, and communication skills.
- Proficient in knowledge of social work principles, referral systems, and family support.
Estimated Salary: $62,000 - $72,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications. The YMCA of Metro Atlanta offers a competitive benefits package, including health, dental, and vision insurance, as well as retirement savings plan and paid time off.
