Job Summary

The Clinical Liaison will serve as a key member of the interdisciplinary team, working closely with the Department of Community Based Services (DCBS) to provide assessment, coordination of services, and ongoing collaboration for families impacted by substance use disorder (SUD).

Responsibilities
  • Act as lead clinical consultant to DCBS in cases identified to feature parental addiction
  • Provide assessments and recommendations for care
  • Make direct linkages to treatment, participating in prevention planning, attending court appearances, family team meetings, and coordinating case management with treatment provider and DCBS worker/supervisor
Requirements
  • Master's degree in Social Work or a related field AND accompanying certification (CSW, MFT, LCPA) with a preference given to an LCSW, LPCC, and/or CADC with an addiction focus
  • At least two years working with persons affected by behavioral health and substance use issues
  • Proven ability in providing clinical services, communications, social casework, and billing requirements with KY Medicaid
