Automotive Procurement Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Automotive Procurement Manager to join our team at Dick Hannah Toyota. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for purchasing used vehicles within our financial guidelines and purchasing policies. This role requires strong negotiation skills, as well as the ability to provide accurate appraisals to service customers.
Compensation and BenefitsThe estimated salary for this position is $5,000-$7,000 per month, with opportunities for additional income based on performance. We also offer a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, and vision coverage, as well as a 401(k) plan for retirement savings.
Responsibilities- Purchase used vehicles from customers in accordance with our financial guidelines and purchasing policies
- Provide accurate appraisals to service customers to ensure they receive fair market value for their trade-ins
- Work closely with our service/reconditioning manager to ensure that all purchased vehicles are properly inspected and prepared for sale
- Stay up-to-date on current market trends and vehicle valuations to ensure we are offering competitive prices to our customers
- Ensure compliance with all federal and state laws and regulations regarding the used-vehicle industry
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills
- Ability to work accurately and efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Strong analytical skills, with the ability to analyze sales data and local market trends
- Physical ability to use computer hardware/software
- Complete understanding of sales process and automotive industry
