Position: Technical Support Specialist - L2 Desk Side Expert

Location: Greensboro, NC (Onsite)

Duration: Full-Time Direct Hire Opportunity

Job Description:

  • Key Responsibilities: Provide Tier 2 technical support to customers by researching, diagnosing, and resolving complex issues that cannot be resolved by Tier 1. Ensure timely and effective resolution of customer incidents, with a focus on software and hardware technical problems.
  • Requirements: Excellent verbal and written communication skills are essential for this role. Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment is critical.
  • Ticket Management: The Technical Support Specialist will handle tickets routed by the Help Desk or produce tickets for observed issues. Level 2 team members will troubleshoot, resolve, and escalate as necessary.
  • Scope of Work: Break/fix, configuration issues, troubleshooting, software installations, and hardware repair (including in-house repair or coordinating depot services) are typical tasks performed by the Technical Support Specialist. In some cases, they may need to escalate to Level 3, depending on the issue and company processes.

Salary: Estimated annual salary range for this position in Greensboro, NC is approximately $65,000-$85,000, commensurate with experience.
