Salary Range: $105-$145 per hour, depending on experience
Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled Critical Care Registered Nurse (RN) to join our CDU Observation Unit team. As a Critical Care RN, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care to critically ill patients, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams, and contributing to a positive patient experience.
Responsibilities:
- Critical Care Nursing: Provide direct patient care to critically ill patients, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of care.
- Collaboration and Communication: Work effectively with multidisciplinary teams, including physicians, therapists, and other healthcare professionals, to ensure seamless care coordination and excellent patient outcomes.
- Patient Education: Educate patients and their families on disease management, treatment options, and self-care strategies to promote optimal health and well-being.
- Documentation and Reporting: Accurately document patient information, progress notes, and vital signs, and report critical changes or concerns to the medical team promptly.
Requirements:
- Education: Current licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN) in Washington state.
- Experience: Minimum 2 years of experience as a Critical Care RN, preferably in an observation unit setting.
- Skills: Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills, ability to work independently and collaboratively, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and proficiency in electronic medical records systems.
