Theatrical LD/Electrician Job Summary

ASM Global is seeking a highly skilled Theatrical LD/Electrician to join our team at the Dominion Energy Center. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional theatrical lighting for our clients.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Run light board for shows and supervise touring electricians.
  • Hang, focus, and program lighting equipment as required.
  • Inspect, monitor, and evaluate lighting equipment to ensure effectiveness.
  • Advise management on improvements and recommend purchases when necessary.
  • Participate in stage-related duties, including sound setup, stage set-ups, and stage changeovers.
  • Provide additional support as needed for all shows.
  • Work extended and/or irregular hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays.

Requirements:
  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • Minimum 3-5 years of related experience and/or training.
  • Advanced working knowledge of theater lighting practices and principles.
  • Programming experience on ETC EOS family of consoles.
  • Understanding of ETC Net3 and conventional and intelligent lighting fixtures.
  • Ability to organize and prioritize work to meet deadlines and work effectively under pressure.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Demonstrated leadership skills and ability to work independently and as a member of the team.
