Your Role and Responsibilities

As a Senior Federal Data Engineer at IBM, you will unlock valuable insights from data by harnessing its full potential. Your key responsibilities include:

  • Implementing and validating predictive models while creating and maintaining statistical models focused on big data, incorporating various statistical and machine learning techniques
  • Designing and implementing enterprise search applications such as Elasticsearch and Splunk based on client requirements
  • Working in an Agile environment, partnering with experts from diverse backgrounds to bring analytical rigor and statistical methods to complex challenges
  • BUILDING TEAMS TO CLEANSE AND INTEGRATE DATA EFFICIENTLY WHILE DEVELOPING PREDICTIVE MODELS AND EVALUATING MODELING RESULTS

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a Federal security clearance while working for IBM Consulting-Federal
  • Bachelor's degree
  • Master's degree (MA, MBA, MPA, MPP, or MS) at time of start
  • Availability to begin employment in 2025
  • Willingness to relocate to the Washington, D.C. Metro Area
  • Able to travel up to 100% due to project assignments throughout the U.S.
Compensation

The estimated annual salary for this position is $120,000 - $150,000, depending on qualifications and location. Benefits may include health insurance, retirement plans, paid time off, and education assistance.
