About the Role

As a Sales Manager, you will drive our sales team to connect clients with tailored services that improve lawn health and aesthetic value.

You will leverage your agronomy knowledge to guide clients and the team in selecting optimal solutions.


Key Responsibilities
  1. Train new sales and customer service staff, implementing consistent sales and service strategies.
  2. Manage a fair, structured lead distribution to drive accountability and maintain team cohesion.
  3. Oversee team performance, track KPIs, and manage team morale, conflict resolution, and seasonal strategies.
  4. Organize and track marketing and call campaigns, optimizing resource use and effectiveness.
  5. Drive a goal-oriented culture, aligning team performance with company revenue and profitability targets.
  6. Provide regular training, support well-being, and prevent burnout to keep the team engaged and prepared.
  7. Ensure timely, professional customer interactions and handle escalations as needed.
  8. Build strong customer relationships through empathetic, clear communication to boost satisfaction and retention.

Qualifications
  1. Agronomy Background: A strong understanding of agronomy, turf management, soil health, and pest control.
  2. Sales Experience in Agronomy/Turf Industry: Proven experience in sales, ideally in lawn care, landscaping, or agronomy.
  3. Communication Skills: Ability to clearly explain technical aspects of turf care and treatment.
  4. Analytical & Problem-Solving Abilities: Competence in assessing customer landscapes and providing effective solutions.
  5. Drivers License: Valid license with a clean record for field visits.
