Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Construction Manager to lead our underground utility projects. The successful candidate will have a strong background in heavy civil construction and be able to coordinate and supervise craft employee activities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Plan and supervise craft activities, including determining method of construction, manpower levels, material quantities, equipment, and temporary power sources.
  • Coordinate assigned work with different crafts, company departments, or other contractors.
  • Maintain liaison with engineering, estimating, and planning to ensure work complies with drawings, specifications, and schedule.
  • Assist labor relations department in maintaining communications with unions, resolving jurisdictional disputes, and requisitioning required manpower.
  • Monitor craft compliance with project safety program and environment requirements.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or equivalent combination of technical training and experience.
  • Experience in construction scheduling, cost control, technology, methods, equipment, tools, and work procedures required.
  • Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Ability to travel.
