Job SummaryWe are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented IOM Technologist to join our team at Brigham and Women's Hospital. As a key member of our operating room team, you will be responsible for performing complex intraoperative neurodiagnostic procedures, providing technical interpretation of neurologic data, and assisting in the maintenance of equipment and patient data.
Key Responsibilities- Perform intraoperative neurodiagnostic procedures, including SSEP, TcMEP, EMG/Triggered EMG, BAEP, and EEG waveforms.
- Provide technical interpretation of neurologic data to the surgical team and medical director.
- Assist in the maintenance of equipment, patient data, and supplies.
- Collaborate with the surgical team to ensure accurate and timely recording of neurodiagnostic data.
- Stay up-to-date with current developments in the IOM field and participate in educational conferences and meetings.
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Preferred: Some college or Associate's Degree, ABRET (R EEG T/CNIM), or graduate of an accredited electroneurodiagnostic training program.
- Experience working in an operating room environment and knowledge of Microsoft Office Applications, including Excel and Access.
