Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced CCTV Installation Superintendent to manage all aspects of CCTV installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting across multiple sites. This role involves overseeing a team of technicians, coordinating with stakeholders, and ensuring system performance aligns with client expectations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage and oversee multiple site locations, leading a team of technicians and installers.
  • Provide project management for complete installations, ensuring all hardware and software components meet customer expectations.
  • Dispatch resources strategically and handle escalations for site issues or concerns.
  • Install, maintain, and repair CCTV systems, including cameras, DVRs, monitors, and cabling.
  • Configure CCTV systems, setting up motion detection and scheduling recording times.
  • Terminate coaxial, fiber, and copper cables for analog and IP-based CCTV systems.
  • Troubleshoot and diagnose hardware and software issues with CCTV systems.
  • Provide training to clients on CCTV operations, including footage review and system settings management.
  • Implement network configurations for IP-based systems to ensure secure and efficient data transmission.
  • Coordinate with security personnel and law enforcement agencies to support investigations with video evidence.
  • Upgrade CCTV systems by integrating new technologies and expanding coverage areas.
  • Work closely with electricians and project managers to ensure timely project completion.
  • Monitor service levels, manage field service teams, and support service improvements.
  • Inspect and test low voltage systems for proper functionality.
  • Maintain project documentation, including schedules, work orders, and inventory records.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant codes and regulations.
Work Environment:

The successful candidate will be able to stand, squat, kneel, bend, crawl, sit, climb a ladder, and lift 30 - 50 lbs (occasionally overhead).

Required Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent in a related field.
  • 10+ years of experience with Security, Access Control, CCTV, Intrusion Alarm, or related systems.
  • OSHA 10-hour General or Construction Industry Safety and Health Certification.
  • CompTIA Network+ certification.
  • ESA Certified Alarm Technician Level II or higher.
Preferred Skills:
  • Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Basic knowledge of network configurations and network switching.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office products.
  • Ability to manage escalations and coordinate technician responses effectively.
  • Excellent understanding of internal service processes and ability to articulate them to clients.
