About the Role

We are seeking a highly experienced Acute Dialysis Services Program Director to join our team at Fresenius Medical Care North America. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated and results-driven individual to lead our program and contribute to the delivery of high-quality patient care.

Job Summary

The Acute Dialysis Services Program Director will be responsible for overseeing the tactical execution of short- and long-term objectives, managing costs, methods, and staffing, and ensuring efficient staff/patient scheduling and operations in all contracted facilities. Additionally, this role will provide leadership, coaching, and development plans for direct reports, monitor costs/spending, and determine innovative ways to reduce costs while maintaining quality.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage the tactical execution of short- and long-term objectives through coordination of activities with a direct responsibility for results, including costs, methods, and staffing.
  • Monitor costs/spending in all areas, including medical supply inventory, personnel, and accounts payable.
  • Determine innovative ways to reduce costs and maintain quality.
  • Ensure proper staffing and operations at all contracted facilities.
  • Provide leadership, coaching, and development plans for direct reports to maintain an engaged and productive workforce.
  • Partner with Human Resources on employee matters.
  • Act as an advisor to subordinate(s) to meet schedules and/or resolve technical problems.
  • Responsible for hiring, coaching, and counseling employees, including performance reviews, development, disciplinary action, and terminations.
  • Technically proficient in the specific department and knowledge of industry practice and business principles.
  • Works on issues of diverse scope where analysis of situation or data requires evaluation of a variety of factors, including an understanding of current business trends.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you should have:

  • A Graduate degree from an accredited School of Nursing (RN).
  • Current state licensure as applicable.
  • 3-5 years' related experience.
  • 3+ years' supervisory or project/program management experience preferred.

Fresenius Medical Care North America offers a competitive salary range of $80,000 - $110,000 per year, depending on experience, plus benefits such as health insurance, retirement savings plan, and paid time off.
