Job Summary

Highmark Health is seeking a skilled Behavioral Health Clinician to join our team. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will provide comprehensive evaluation and treatment of acute psychiatric patients.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct individual, group, and family therapy sessions with assigned patients, focusing on their unique needs and goals.
  • Develop and implement comprehensive treatment plans, taking into account the patient's medical history, mental health status, and personal circumstances.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care coordination and effective communication.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient interactions, treatment plans, and progress notes, adhering to regulatory requirements.
  • Participate in departmental and hospital meetings to stay informed about best practices, new developments, and emerging trends in the field.

Requirements

  • Master's degree in a relevant field, such as psychology, social work, or counseling.
  • Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) certification.
  • Older Adults Protective Services Act (OAPSA) clearance, if applicable.
  • Prior experience in a behavioral health setting, with a focus on counseling and therapy.
