Suncoast Behavioral Health Center, a leading psychiatric hospital, is seeking a dedicated Housekeeping Specialist to join its team. This role is perfect for individuals who are passionate about delivering exceptional patient care and maintaining a safe and clean environment.

As a Housekeeping Specialist, you will be responsible for ensuring that all areas of the hospital are clean, tidy, and free from hazards. This includes daily cleaning of patient rooms, nursing units, offices, lobby, waiting areas, and restrooms. You will also be responsible for operating mechanical equipment used in the laundry and housekeeping department.

We offer a competitive salary of $43,000 per year, depending on experience, plus excellent benefits, including medical, dental, vision, and prescription drug plans, 401(k) with company match, and career development opportunities within our organization.

Job Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or Equivalent preferred.
  • Minimum one (1) year in healthcare environment preferred.
  • Previous experience as a housekeeper in a medical facility preferred.
  • Must be able to walk, stand, stoop, and climb for periods up to eight (8) hours.
  • Must be able to operate mechanical equipment used in the laundry and housekeeping department.
