Cloud Infrastructure Engineering Associate

At Heartland Business Systems, LLC, we are seeking a highly skilled Cloud Infrastructure Engineering Associate to join our team. This role will involve assisting in the development, implementation, and support of cloud-based services and solutions for our consulting clients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with the HBS Cloud Architecture Team to provide consultative and proactive project support to our account base.
- Obtain knowledge on various technologies and platforms as directed by your leader and customer demand.
- Provide support, maintenance, and administration for customer environments.
- Contribute to the assessment, development, implementation, optimization, and documentation of security technologies and processes, data protection, cryptography, key management, identity, and access management (IAM) within SaaS, IaaS, PaaS, and other cloud environments.
- Cross-educate and mentor other Heartland interns, engineers, and related personnel.

- Required Skills, Education, and/or Certifications:
- Enrolled in a university majoring in an IT-related field.
- Minimum 3.5 GPA.
- Preferred Experience:
- At least 3 months of industry experience.
- Experience with Microsoft Azure solutions.
- Virtual Machines and Azure Virtual Desktop (AVD).
- Networking and DNS.
- Storage.
- Azure Backup and Azure Site Recovery.
- Pricing and Cost Management.
- Experience implementing and designing systems-based solutions with a focus on the cloud.
- IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS.
- Experience installing and supporting Microsoft enterprise products.
- PowerShell, Python, or other scripting and development background.
- Familiarity or experience with Linux.
- Microsoft 365, Exchange Online, SharePoint, OneDrive, and Teams.
Preferred Skills, Education, and/or Certifications:
- One or more of the following certifications:
- Microsoft Azure Fundamentals.
- Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate.
- Microsoft Certified: Azure Virtual Desktop Specialty.
- Microsoft Certified: Azure Security Engineer Associate.
- Microsoft Certified: Identity and Access Administrator Associate.
- Microsoft Certified: Azure Network Engineer Associate.
- Microsoft Certified: Windows Server Hybrid Administrator Associate.
