Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Front Desk Supervisor to join our team at Shaner Hotel Group. As a key member of our front office team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional guest service, ensuring a smooth and efficient check-in and check-out process, and maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities
  • Guest Service: Greet and assist guests in a friendly and professional manner, responding to their needs and resolving any issues that may arise.
  • Front Desk Operations: Manage the front desk area, ensuring that all necessary supplies and equipment are available and in good working order.
  • Team Leadership: Supervise and train front desk staff, providing guidance and support to ensure that they are able to provide excellent guest service.
  • Problem-Solving: Handle guest complaints and concerns in a professional and courteous manner, resolving issues in a fair and timely manner.
  • Communication: Maintain effective communication with other departments, including housekeeping, maintenance, and food and beverage, to ensure that guest needs are met.
Requirements
  • Experience: Minimum one year experience in a similar position, with prior supervisory experience preferred.
  • Skills: Ability to satisfactorily communicate with guests, management, and co-workers to their understanding, with a strong focus on customer service and problem-solving.
  • Education: High school graduate or equivalent, with some college preferred.
  • Language: Bilingual English/Spanish a plus, with knowledge of local activities and attractions appropriate for clientele.
