About the Role
AdaptHealth LLC is seeking a skilled Respiratory Therapist Ventilation Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing respiratory care to patients in need of ventilation support.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide respiratory care to patients in need of ventilation support, including ventilator management and patient education.
- Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure seamless patient care and communication.
- Conduct regular assessments and evaluations to ensure patient safety and optimal outcomes.
- Develop and implement individualized care plans to meet patient needs.
- Provide education and support to patients and their families on respiratory care and disease management.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest treatment modalities and technologies to ensure evidence-based practice.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and outcomes.
Requirements
- Associates degree from an accredited respiratory therapy program.
- Valid and unrestricted RT clinical license in all states serviced by the branch.
- 1 year of clinical experience as a Health Care RT, HME RT or clinical nursing with Vent experience.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks.
