Kessler's Inc. is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Point of Sale Cashier to join our team. As a Point of Sale Cashier, you will be responsible for accurately processing transactions, maintaining a clean and organized store environment, and providing exceptional customer service. Your excellent communication skills will enable you to effectively communicate with customers, colleagues, and management team members.

About the Job:
As a Point of Sale Cashier, you will work in a fast-paced retail environment, interacting with customers, answering their queries, and resolving any issues that may arise. Your ability to multitask, manage cash handling, operate the point of sale system, and maintain accurate records of sales and inventory levels will make you an essential part of our team. You must be able to work efficiently, prioritizing tasks and maintaining a high level of professionalism and courtesy.

Responsibilities:

• Cleaning - Ensure the point of sale area is clean and tidy during shifts.
• Fast & Friendly Service - Provide prompt and friendly service to customers.
• Greeting & Thanking - Greet customers warmly and thank them after completing transactions.
• Price Accuracy - Verify the accuracy of prices at the point of sale for customers.
• Drawer Accuracy - Maintain an accurate till balance and provide correct change to customers.
• Outgoing - Be friendly, talkative, and engaging with customers.
• Program Expert - Familiarize yourself with company programs (e.g., fuel perks, vouchers, coupons, and triple coupon Sunday).
• Transaction Expert - Process transactions (cash, check, charge account, voucher, credit card, WIC, EBT) efficiently.

Requirements:
To be successful as a Point of Sale Cashier, you must have a friendly and welcoming disposition, always be helpful, possess a sense of urgency, be reliable and punctual, and exhibit a positive 'can-do' attitude. You must also be available to work between 10:00 am and 6:00 pm or 12:00 pm and 8:00 pm, including weekends and holidays.

Salary Estimate: $38,000 - $58,000 per annum.
