Job Summary
This is a skilled welding position that requires the ability to perform various welding functions, including arc gouging and welding qualified processes. The successful candidate will have prior experience in a fabrication environment and be certified in at least three of the following processes: GMAW/FCAW, GTAW, SMAW, and SAW.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform welding functions, including arc gouging and welding qualified processes
- Work closely with supervision and QA/QC to ensure high-quality work
- Interact with team members to achieve departmental goals
- Read, analyze, and interpret technical information, such as codes and blueprints
- Perform other job-related duties as requested by supervision
Requirements
- Prior experience in a fabrication environment
- Certification in at least three of the following processes: GMAW/FCAW, GTAW, SMAW, and SAW
- Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively
- Ability to work at elevated heights and in hot and cold temperatures
- Ability to perform tasks that require pushing, pulling, lifting, or carrying objects weighing up to 50 pounds
