About the Role

Atrium Health Charlotte is seeking a skilled Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Endoscopy team in Shelby, North Carolina.

Job Summary

This role involves providing professional nursing care to patients through assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation. The successful candidate will assist in maintaining a safe work environment and perform all related job responsibilities in a safe manner.

The RN Clinical Nurse I at Atrium Health Charlotte is responsible for delivering high-quality patient care, collaborating with interdisciplinary teams, and contributing to a positive patient experience.

Responsibilities
  • Collects data pertinent to the healthcare consumer's health or situation, analyzing it to determine actual or potential diagnoses, problems, and issues.
  • Identifies expected outcomes for an individualized plan, developing strategies to attain measurable goals.
  • Implements the identified plan, coordinating care delivery and employing strategies to promote health and safety.
  • Delegates elements of care to appropriate healthcare workers, ensuring effective communication and coordination.
  • Evaluates progress toward attainment of goals and outcomes, practicing in a culturally sensitive and inclusive manner.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Nursing from an accredited institution.
  • Current RN license or temporary license as a Registered Nurse Petitioner in the state where the RN works.
  • Basic Life Support certification per policy guidelines.
