About the Opportunity

Oracle GDI - Government Defense & Intelligence is seeking a Senior Cloud Account Executive to drive sales of Oracle Cloud solutions to the U.S. Air Force. This role will be responsible for building and executing a growth plan to increase cloud adoption, leveraging the Oracle sales model to maximize revenue growth and increase local market share.

Responsibilities
  • Build a partnership with the U.S. Air Force and serve as a client advocate to position Oracle cloud solutions to meet mission requirements.
  • Manage the sales process, including business development, prospecting, contract negotiations, and post-sales support.
  • Orchestrate a cross-functional team to deliver Oracle IaaS and PaaS solutions to mission-critical problems.
  • Develop and expand business partner and system integrator relationships to identify mutual benefits.
Requirements
  • 10+ years of field sales experience, including technology sales experience.
  • Strong understanding of the Department of Defense and existing relationships within the Air Force.
  • Business development, prospecting, and presentation skills, with excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.
  • Proven track record of exceeding sales quota and territory/account development.
  • Ability to rapidly learn Oracle Cloud technology.
