About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Community Engagement Coordinator to support our outreach efforts and build partnerships with key stakeholders in the film industry.

As part of our team, you will develop and implement strategic outreach plans to promote our initiatives, engage with community organizations, and foster meaningful connections with industry professionals.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is passionate about community development, has experience in outreach and partnership-building, and is familiar with the film industry.

About the Job

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Developing and executing outreach strategies to engage with community organizations, schools, and industry professionals
  • Fostering and expanding partnerships with film industry companies, studios, and post-production houses
  • Organizing and participating in community events, workshops, and festivals to promote our mission and goals
  • Collaborating with our education team to plan and execute field trips and guest speaker sessions for students
  • Managing the submission and follow-through of student films to various local and national film festivals
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A Bachelor's Degree in communications, marketing, public relations, or a related field
  • 2-4 years of experience in community outreach, public relations, event management, or a related area
  • Proven track record of successfully building and managing relationships with diverse stakeholders
  • Proficient in Google Apps and experience with tools such as Zoom, Salesforce, and project management tools like Asana
  • Experience working with individuals from diverse backgrounds, including those with barriers to employment

Salary and Benefits

The estimated salary for this position is $62,000 - $69,000 per year, depending on experience. We offer a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, retirement plan, and paid time off.
