Cardiovascular Radiologic Technologist Specialist

Norman Regional Health System is a renowned healthcare institution nestled in the Oklahoma City metro area, recognized for its innovative cardiovascular program and commitment to excellence. The system's hospital features a state-of-the-art Critical Care Tower with three Cath Lab suites, one Electrophysiology suite, one Hybrid suite, two treatment rooms, and seventeen Same Day Surgery rooms.
The team collaborates with nine cardiologists and two electrophysiologists to provide exceptional patient care. Norman Regional Health System has earned prestigious awards, including:
- American College of Cardiology Chest Pain Center with PCI and Resuscitation Accreditation
- American College of Cardiology NCDR Registry Gold Award
- Women's Choice Award in Heart Care
- Intersocietal Accreditation Commission (IAC) Echo Accreditation
- American Association Cardiovascular and Pulmonary Rehabilitation (AACVPR) Accreditation
- Preparation and maintenance of equipment before and during procedures
- Assessment and evaluation of patient conditions, ensuring proper positioning and care
- Maintenance of a sterile environment
- Serving as a preceptor for new hires and radiology students, promoting professional development and growth
- Utilization of downtime effectively by stocking rooms, checking equipment, and performing delegated tasks
- Fostering strong working relationships with physicians and leadership to deliver high-quality patient care
- Completion of a 24-month formal program or military program in Radiologic Technology, with eligibility or current registration with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologist (ARRT)
- RCIS certification preferred
- Basic Life Support (BLS) training or re-training required during orientation
- ACLS training must be achieved within 6 months of hire and maintained throughout employment
$27.84-$45.46 per hour based on previous work experience
