Sales Account Manager

Chroma Technology Corp., a world leader in the advanced manufacturing of thin-film optical coatings, is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Sales Account Manager to join our team.

Job Summary

The Sales Account Manager will be responsible for developing new, profitable accounts and ensuring that customer needs and expectations are met. This role will work to create, retain, and mature long-term relationships with new and existing OEM, Contract Manufacturer, and Reseller customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide quotes for customers to meet their specifications and needs.
  • Maintain relationships with clients by providing support, information, and guidance.
  • Act as liaison between the customer and other key departments at Chroma.
  • Increase profitable revenue from accounts by increasing sales to existing accounts and pursuing new bid opportunities.
  • Participate in market research and assist in developing marketing, advertising, and promotional plans.
  • Travel for tradeshows and/or customer visits.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field (biology, chemistry, physics, or engineering) or equivalent in experience.
  • A minimum of 8 years of technical sales and/or support experience and experience in the optics or technically similar industry.
  • Strong sales track record and demonstrated ability to grow business.
  • Ability to travel as required for the position.
