Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Materials Supervisor to join our team at Regal Rexnord Corp. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing inventory accuracy and the incoming flow, receipts, issuance, and shipments of materials. This role requires strong collaboration with other departments to determine supply needs, direct materials transfers, and manage the shipping and receiving process.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee the operations and daily activities related to materials, shipping/receiving, and inventory, including inventory management, picking customer orders, and receiving incoming materials.
  • Direct the material handling team to ensure material flow from incoming receiving through inventory put away, evaluating the efficiencies and accuracies of incoming materials and outbound shipments.
  • Ensure inventory record accuracy through the development and audit of inventory control methodologies and cycle count program.
  • Suggest and implement approved inventory management control logic to support corporate Trade Working Capital expectations, including Min/Max, Safety Stock, Right size/returnable packaging, FIFO process, OBS & Slow Moving Inventory support, Physical Inventory, and Rack Audit Process.
  • Promote continuous improvement of shipping, receiving, kitting, and inventory management, in line with organizational needs and market conditions.
  • Work closely with Production and Purchasing to determine requirements through production releases and the use of MRP (Material Requirements Planning).
  • Establish and maintain a training schedule for all associates within scope of responsibility, conducting safety training for associates.
  • Participate in leadership meetings to assist in planning and make recommendations on matters related to manufacturing, shipping, receiving, material flow, and inventory management.
  • Provide timely feedback to direct reports to ensure they are meeting expectations and complete annual performance reviews.
  • Report all work-related injuries to direct manager and human resources, leading the problem-solving involving safety incidents.
  • Work with direct manager and human resources to recruit, interview, select, hire, and employ an appropriate number of employees.
  • Lead employees to meet the organization's expectations for productivity, quality, and goal accomplishment.
  • Develop, plan, evaluate, and improve the efficiency of business processes and procedures to enhance speed, quality, efficiency, and output for maximum resource utilization.
  • Ensure internal and external customer orders are picked and processed accurately and timely, including customer shipments and internal requirements for materials for production.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience required.
  • Minimum 2 years previous experience in supervisor/team lead role in a manufacturing environment required.
  • Ability to read, analyze, and interpret common business, manufacturing, and materials communications and information, with good written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as probability and statistical inference, applying concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations.
  • Ability to apply principles of logical or scientific thinking to a wide range of intellectual and practical problems, dealing with nonverbal symbolism (formulas, scientific equations, graphs, etc.) in a business setting.
  • Proficient personal computer skills, including electronic mail, record keeping, routine database activity, word processing, spreadsheet, graphics, etc.
  • Experience with materials functions in ERP/MRP systems required, with SAP experience preferable.
  • Prioritize, organize, and delegate assignments.
  • Candidates must be eligible to work in the United States without requiring company sponsorship to obtain or keep U.S. work authorization.
