Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Registered Dietitian to join our team at Penn State Health St. Joseph Medical Center in Reading, PA.

About the Role:

This is a full-time position responsible for providing professional nutrition services, including nutritional status and needs assessment, planning, counseling, and education for individuals and groups.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide nutrition education to medical and general communities via forums, screenings, and publications
  • Work with physicians to identify patient nutrition plans
  • Counsel patients and families on nutrition principles, diet regimens, and food selections and preparations based on diagnosis
Requirements:

To be considered for this role, you must have a Bachelor's degree in Nutrition and Dietetics, completion of an internship for dietetic registration, licensure by the Commission on Dietetic Registration/Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics, and licensure as a Licensed Dietitian/Nutritionist (LDN).
