Job Summary

Victoria Place is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Building Service Director to oversee the maintenance and upkeep of our senior living community. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in maintenance supervision, HVAC experience, and a working knowledge of machinery and tools.

Key Responsibilities

  • Supervise the maintenance of buildings, grounds, security, and mechanical assets.
  • Develop and implement a comprehensive preventative maintenance program and work order system.
  • Plan, organize, and lead the overall housekeeping and laundry operations.
  • Review and implement plans of action for deficiencies in monthly financial statements.
  • Process and submit monthly expenses and budget data timely.
  • Complete team member staffing and scheduling according to operational and budgetary guidelines.
  • Ensure transportation vehicles are maintained in good working condition.
  • Oversee the safe transportation of passengers from community area to destination.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or Bachelor's/Technical degree in a related field.
  • Four years of maintenance supervision experience.
  • HVAC experience or training.
  • Working knowledge of machinery, tools, repair techniques, plumbing, and related repair.
  • Experience with electrical systems, phone systems, fire panels, emergency response systems, and disaster preparedness.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office.
  • Ability to handle multiple priorities.
