About the Role

The Direct Support Professional 3 will provide daily intervention, supervision, and skills training in activities of daily living for individuals who require physical assistance or accommodation.

This role involves creating opportunities for individuals to develop their skills and foster independence while maintaining required documentation according to DDS, DMH, MassHealth, HUD, DPH, CARF, and Bridgewell policies and procedures.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide support and assist individuals with skills training in all activities of daily living.
  • Create opportunities for individuals to make decisions and develop their skills and foster independence.
  • Provide services to individuals according to regulatory standards and Bridgewell policies.
  • Transport and accompany individuals as needed to medical, recreational, and other activities outside the program.
  • Maintain required documentation and assist individuals with accessing resources and recreational opportunities.
Requirements

A minimum of 1 year of experience working with people with developmental or psychiatric disabilities is preferred.

Excellent written and oral communication skills are required for clear and articulate writing of required documents.

Valid driver's license and at least one year of driving experience are necessary.

Salary: $45,000 - $60,000 per year, based on experience.
