Reliability Systems Manager

We are seeking an experienced Reliability Systems Manager to join our team at Smurfit Westrock. This is a fantastic opportunity for a skilled professional to take on a challenging role and contribute to the success of our organization.
Job SummaryThe Reliability Systems Manager will be responsible for developing and implementing maintenance strategies that optimize plant performance, ensure compliance with regulations, and promote a culture of reliability and safety within the facility. The successful candidate will have strong leadership skills, excellent communication abilities, and a proven track record of managing complex equipment installations and maintenance budgets.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop and implement plant maintenance systems and procedures to support business objectives
- Manage and administer the maintenance budget to ensure cost-effective solutions
- Lead the reliability and maintenance department, supervising staff and promoting career development
- Collaborate with Department Managers to understand production schedules and prioritize maintenance activities
- Ensure employees are effectively trained to meet expectations and apply discipline consistently
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Mechanical, or Industrial Engineering (strongly preferred)
- 5+ years of management experience in the Maintenance arena, preferably in a Lean or TPM environment
- Demonstrated knowledge of capital management, including P&L and capital budgets
- Experience with CMMS, JDE, Microsoft Office, and ERP proficiency required
