Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Imaging Specialist to join our team at SSM Health. This is a part-time, weekend position with 12-hour shifts on Saturdays and Sundays.

Compensation

The estimated salary for this role is $28.36 per hour, with opportunities for overtime pay and shift differentials.

About the Role

As an Imaging Specialist, you will be responsible for performing computerized tomographic procedures to diagnose diseases and injuries according to established protocols.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare patients for imaging procedures by positioning them accurately and selecting technical parameters.
  • Administer contrast media and medications within the scope of practice and applicable regulations.
  • Monitor patient safety during procedures and report any abnormal activity or protocol deviations.
  • Follow radiation safety guidelines and maintain a safe working environment.

Requirements

  • Associate's degree in Radiology or completion of a Radiology certification program.
  • No prior experience required.

Work Environment

This role requires constant standing and walking, frequent use of vision and depth perception, and occasional lifting of objects up to 50 pounds.

Credentials

  • ARRT-R (Radiography) certification required, with ARRT-CT (Computed Tomography) certification obtained within 12 months of hire.

Schedule

Weekend Shifts: Saturdays and Sundays, 12 hours per shift.
