About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled MRI Technologist to join our team at Midwest Orthopaedics at Rush. As a key member of our imaging department, you will be responsible for performing high-quality MRI scans and providing exceptional patient care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform MRI scans to produce high-quality images for physician review
  • Prepare patients for scans, including explaining procedures and requesting removal of hazardous objects
  • Operate MRI scanners, including routine and experimental setup, modification of scanning parameters, and troubleshooting
  • Document work processes and maintain accurate records
  • Communicate effectively with patients, radiologists, and other team members
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest advances in MRI technology and techniques
Requirements
  • Graduate of an ARRT-approved program
  • Registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technology (ARRT)
  • MRI certification required
  • Radiography (R) certification required
  • BLS certification required
  • One year of experience with Siemens MR scanners preferred
