Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Commercial Construction Project Manager Lead to join our team in Houston, TX.

About the Role

This is an exceptional opportunity to lead commercial construction projects from start to finish, overseeing all aspects of project management and ensuring timely delivery.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with Estimating during the Preconstruction phase to develop accurate project plans and budgets.
  • Provide leadership and mentorship to junior project managers, promoting knowledge sharing and skill development.
  • Maintain open communication with clients, architects, engineers, and subcontractors to ensure smooth project execution.
  • Oversee Subcontractor and Vendor procurement, including buyout, scope of work review, contract writing, insurance and bonding reviews.
  • Analyze and resolve drawing interpretation problems, conflicts, and errors.
  • Manage project schedules, progress updates, and cost projections to ensure on-time and on-budget completion.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or related field preferred.
  • 5 years experience managing commercial/light industrial projects, with a strong background in financial management.
  • Broad knowledge of building systems and construction methods.
