Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Research Analyst to join our team at GeorgiaGov. The successful candidate will provide policy analysis, research, and statistical expertise to the Council of Accountability Court Judges (CACJ).

Key Responsibilities
  • Evaluate statistical data to identify trends and irregularities in agency/program performance.
  • Analyze programmatic and operational data to investigate underlying trends and causes.
  • Conduct research and studies with statewide impact, serving on a data team involved in programmatic and operational research initiatives.
  • Organize and tabulate data using various techniques, including database software, spreadsheets, and statistical tables.
  • Prepare models of problems for determination, relating constants and variables, restrictions, alternatives, and their parameters.
  • Respond to routine and special requests for data, analyzing and disseminating data to CACJ, executive-level committees, and local courts.
  • Prepare reports and make recommendations or determinations based on analysis.
  • Evaluate data for quality and completeness, participating in executive-level meetings as requested.
Requirements

A Master's degree or a bachelor's degree in a related field, such as statistics, sociology, psychology, or public administration, is required. Two years of related experience are also necessary. Accountability court or judicial system experience is preferred.

High School Diploma/GED with four years of job-related experience in planning analysis, analyzing data, designing surveys, and preparing reports may also be considered.
