Medical Device Sales Representative

The RoleWe are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Medical Device Sales Representative to join our Surgical Structural Heart team in Cleveland, OH. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for educating healthcare professionals on the safe and proper use of our products, supporting inventory management, and developing regional business plans to achieve quotas for assigned products.
Responsibilities:- Successfully complete all required product and sales-related training curriculum.
- Be fully knowledgeable about anatomy and capable of effectively explaining after completion of sales training.
- Possess a competitive spirit and place a high value on ethical standards with regard to surgical procedures and patient outcomes.
- Demonstrate excellent communication, negotiation, and selling skills.
- Support Inventory Management.
- Educate healthcare providers, including surgeons, in a clinic and hospital setting on the safe and proper use of our products.
- Identify selling opportunities and work closely with sales representatives to increase sales in their respective accounts.
- Develop and execute regional business plans to achieve quotas for assigned products, which may include cold calling to develop new customers, qualifying and following up on leads, and selling to new and/or existing accounts.
- Thrive in an environment of variety and rapid growth & change.
- Bachelor's degree in a related discipline.
- 3+ years of hospital-based medical device sales experience.
- Ability to work in an operating room environment.
- Willingness to travel within your defined region.
- Willingness to relocate if/when the opportunity arises.
- Good written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to master anatomy, pathology, procedures, products, and application.
- Good knowledge of MS Office Suite.
- A valid driver's license.
$80,000 - $120,000 per year, depending on experience.
