Position Overview

We are seeking an organized and detail-oriented individual for the role of HVAC Permit Coordinator. This position involves managing permits for various projects, ensuring compliance with local, state, and federal regulations. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills and be able to work collaboratively with internal teams and external agencies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Research and understand permitting requirements for HVAC and construction projects in different jurisdictions.">
  • Prepare and submit permit applications, along with necessary documentation, to local authorities.">
  • Track permit application status and follow up with agencies to expedite approvals.">
  • Collaborate with project managers, dispatch, and other departments to ensure all necessary permits are obtained before project commencement.">
  • Maintain an organized filing system for permits and related documents, both electronic and physical.">
  • Monitor changes in regulations and update internal processes accordingly to ensure compliance.">
  • Assist in resolving any issues that may arise during the permitting process.">
  • Provide support and guidance to staff regarding permitting requirements and procedures.">

Requirements:

A high school diploma or equivalent; an associate's or bachelor's degree in a related field is preferred. Previous experience in a permits or regulatory compliance role, preferably in the HVAC or construction industry, is also beneficial.

The ideal candidate should have strong knowledge of local, state, and federal permitting processes. Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail are essential. Strong verbal and written communication skills, proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, and experience with permit management software are also required.

Estimated Salary:

$55,000 - $70,000 per annum.
