Job Description

A special education consultant is needed to provide speech and language services to students with communication disorders in a school district in Tennessee. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in speech pathology and experience working with students with diverse needs.

Responsibilities include:

  • Conducting evaluations and assessments to diagnose communication disorders
  • Developing individualized treatment plans based on evaluations and assessments
  • Providing speech and language therapy to students in both individual and group settings
  • Collaborating with other professionals to ensure the best possible outcomes for students
  • Maintaining accurate records of evaluations, assessments, and therapy sessions

Requirements:

  • Active state SLPA license
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
