Dialysis Equipment Technician

As a Dialysis Equipment Technician at University Health System- San Antonio, you will be responsible for performing preventive maintenance activities on assigned medical equipment, reverse osmosis water systems, dialysate delivery systems, inventory controls, and quality controls. Your duties will include completing assigned tasks in a timely, efficient, and competent manner, complying with University Health and department policies and regulations for proper use and care of equipment and supplies, and maintaining good public and personnel working relations.
Responsibilities:
Perform and complete assigned duties and reporting in a timely and efficient manner

Maintain good public and personnel working relations
Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent experience is required
Course of study in repair and maintenance of dialysis equipment or RO water treatment is required
National Certification through BONENT or NANT is preferred
Two years of experience in preventive maintenance activities, maintenance and repair of dialysis machines, and water treatment equipment are required
